Rick Taylor is one of the owners of Ashmore Optical. Rick has been practicing Optometry for over 18 years and has a wealth of experience to offer his patients.. As the owner he is committed to ensuring you get the very best of care and service from him and his staff. Rick got his qualifications from QUT, a well respected institution, in 1991. and has been registered to practice Optometry in QLD ever since. Over the years he developed a very loyal following of patients who will attest to his professionalism and friendly nature.

Jane Donovan has been with Ashmore Optical for over 8 years. Jane has been an Optometrist for over 30 years. In those years Jane has practiced Optometry in her own family practice with her husband for most of that time. Jane has been practicing as a locum for her 8 years that she has been at Ashmore Optical. Jane is able to offer a wide range of experience and knowledge to her patients as well as a very pleasant and loving persona when dealing with her patients. All aspects of eyecare are covered and any questions you may have will be expertly dealt with by Jane and the staff.

David Angus also gained his qualifications from QUT the same time as Rick Taylor. David has been with the practice on and off for over 8 years as a locum. Being a local of the Gold Coast having grown up here, gives David a unique perspective when talking to his patients. David offers you a small town feel with big city results. His abilities in contact lens prescriptions and fittings allow Ashmore Optical to offer the very best in vision not only in spectacles but disposable and permanent contact lenses.

John Helgeson is also part owner in Ashmore Optical. John started Ashmore Optical over 25 years ago. John has been practicing Optometry for the 30 years and whilst still practicing, does not practice at Ashmore Optical at the moment.
